There's a difference between moaning in general and moaning as described in the wisdom books of the
Old Testament. To simply just moan about weekend sport results, or the weather, on a Monday morning is not the same compared to the psalm writers expressing their deepest hurt and complaints before the Lord. Often we read in the biblical lamentations how people are living on a tightrope somewhere between faith and uncertainty. We hear how they believe hesitatingly and struggle doubtingly with the Lord. We hear how individuals like Job cry out to Him. Still, they intrepidly carry on speaking to God. They never gossip about Him in an underhand way. They never bid Him farewell when they can no longer find any sense in their suffering. Learn from the bible writers how to continually take your suffering to God. His shoulders are wide enough...
