Earlier I thought I had to impress other people. No longer. As a follower of Jesus, I don't want to impress anybody, I only want to share impressive God-stories.

Earlier, the complexities of life fascinated me. No longer. Now, as a follower of Jesus the challenge is to also discover the simplicities of life and the mysteries of the ordinary.
Earlier, nothing impressed me much. I thought I've seen it all. No longer. Now as a follower of Christ I see beauty everywhere. Every person I meet is a living work of art.
Earlier I talked mostly about God. No longer. As a follower of Jesus, I try to talk more to God.
Earlier, people had to listen to me most of the time. No longer. As a follower of Jesus, I try to make more time to listen to others.
Earlier I wanted to change people's ideas. No longer. As a follower of Jesus, I know I can't change others, or myself. Only God can.
